The Senior Citizens City Council

The Senior Citizens City Council [pol. Miejska Rada Seniorów] is an advisory, consultative and initiative body in the municipal structures. The Council was established by the  resolution no. XXIV/228/V/2007 of the Poznan City Council on the 25th of October 2007. It consists of 15 members, whose term of office last as long as the cadence of the Poznan City Council.

The goal of the Senior Citizens City Council is to help seniors by representing their interest in front of the city authorities. Main aims are:

The Centre for Senior Citizens Initiatives was established on the initiative of the Senior Citizens City Council of the first term.
